Calling all customers of The Flower Bank! We are delighted to invite you to this year's Christmas Open Day - on Monday October 10 between 2pm and 8pm - where we will be unveiling our Real Men Buy Flowers calendar 2012! We will also be selling exciting festive sundries, holding special demonstrations and inviting guests to wander through our Winter wonderland display to find inspiration to boost sales. Free food and refreshments will include our delicious traditional hog roast. The success of last year's Real Men Buy Flowers calendar prompted our fantastic 2012 edition. Slick, stylish and sporting, it is the latest step in our campaign to persuade more British men to buy fresh flowers for their girlfriends, wives, partners and colleagues from professional florists. Helen Wilson, Director of The Flower Bank, said: "The positive reaction from the flower industry to our first calendar was amazing, not just in the UK but also in America, Europe and Australia. "What is even more encouraging is than in the last few weeks we have been receiving enquiries from florists about whether we were going to do a follow-up calendar in 2012. "Many florists used the images from the original campaign to help them boost sales. "So here on the invite is a sneak preview of the new calendar to whet appetites! Our Christmas get-together is a fantastic opportunity to meet old friends as well and catch up on the all the news from this fantastic industry so I hope to see you all on the day." |
