Barnard Castle florist Liesa Robson was delighted to receive a bottle of champagne in our monthly draw.

“It got my day off to a great start,” said the 32-year-old of Coronation Drive.

Liesa works for the award-winning Richardson’s which has a shop on Galgate.

Director Helen Wilson said the business enjoyed a fine reputation in the region.

“It’s a fantastic florist and another popular winner in our monthly champagne draw which is all about recognising our customers and keep our service very personal,” she said.

Richardson’s - which was established in 1953 - has exhibited at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show and won many medals including gold.

It has also won floristry competitions at local and national level including those run by The Flower Council of Holland and has been the regional retail florist of the year twice.
